Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger was in Washington, D.C. on Wednesday. He met with California lawmakers and gave a speech at Georgetown University. Benjamin Shaw reports from Capitol Hill.

Schwarzenegger is branding himself as the Republican Al Gore. He gave the keynote address at a Georgetown University environmental conference. And he had the crowd on their feet. He also had a warning for politicians on Capitol Hill who object to a green agenda.

Schwarzenegger : You will become a political penguin on a smaller and smaller ice floe that is drifting off to sea. Goodbye my little friend. That's what's going to happen.

The Governor is pushing an aggressive environmental policy. And he's getting plenty of attention for it. Outdoor and Newsweek magazines have given him cover stories this week.

His environmental media blitz continues in New York tomorrow. There he will tape three segments for national television programs.
