A detention hearing for Alejandrina Gisselle Guzmán Salazar, the woman who claims to be the daughter of “El Chapo,” is scheduled for 2 p.m. Thursday in San Diego. The hearing in federal court will determine whether or not she can be granted bail.
Last week, the seven-months-pregnant Guzmán Salazar was arrested at the San Ysidro Port of Entry after trying to cross with a false visa. This event made international news after Guzmán Salazar claimed she was the daughter of Joaquín “El Chapo” Guzmán, the notorious kingpin of the Sinaloa drug cartel.
Doubts still linger weather or not Guzmán Salazar is in fact El Chapo’s daughter.
