Two NATO International Security Assistance Force members were killed Monday in Afghanistan, in separate attacks, after enemy forces hit them with direct fire.
According to the ISAF Joint Command Twitter feed, one service member died in eastern Afghanistan, and the other in southern Afghanistan.
ISAF does not release the identities or the the nationalities of its casualties, allowing the home countries of the fallen to do so instead.
No word yet on the nationalities of the two soldiers who died.
