San Diego's Top Weekend Events: Two Crooners And A Festival

We are hoping for the change to more San Diego like weather this weekend so we can get out to enjoy two festivals and group to two mail Crooners. Nordy me is Nina Garin. If it is August and Cindy go, it is time for Summerfest, the annual chamber music Festival. Can you tell us more about it?It is a prestigious festival. It brings the best musicians in the world to La Jolla. It is been happening for 30 years. There are the world-class concerts most nights and during the day, you can watch open rehearsals or attend workshops.Who are some of the musicians coming to down ?This we can come we have the pianist and twin sisters. It is Christine and Michelle. Later, we have the great jazz violinist and we are doing and instructing program. This is the first time that the Tobin violin and and Canon sonatas will be performed in that will happen over four nights.I understand that Summerfest is between venues.For many years, it was at the Museum of contemporary Art. That building is getting renovated and the theater is gone. They knocked it down. Conrad is the music society new venue but that will not be ready until 2018. This year, most of the events happen at UC San Diego music Center.The La Jolla music best happens August at UC Sandy go. You have another beloved summer festival, screen on the green.This is a film festival. They screen a movie on the botanical lawn on the east side of the museum.I understand the movies are all art themed or related to art?That is the fun thing. They are connected to art. We have pictures of Dorian Gray which used three step Technicolor. You have a little more obvious like Audrey have during -- Audrey Halperin, "How to Steal a Million". And Woody Allen's, "Midnight in Paris" which takes the writer back to the 1920s.As you mentioned, the screenings are popular. How early should people arrived to get a spot on the lawn ?They are so popular. People show up after work like 5:00 it is a free event. I recommend showing up as soon as you can. Grab a spot. The lawn does allow alcohol until 8:00. Also, Panama 66 has to go items for sale until 8:00.There it is every Thursday in Balboa Park.We will talk about the mail Crooners from different generation. Let's start with Ed Sheeran.This is a British folksinger and he is crossed over into pot. People know him because he is a friend of Taylor Swift and because his music is always on the radio.
